We have been informed that users viewing this site with Google Chrome may be told that it is unsafe. This is not actually true. BRD is just as safe as it's always been, but since we aren't a HTTPS site yet and we have a login widget on our main page, Google Chrome thinks we're bad for some reason.

Forumotion has announced that they will be giving forums the opportunity to become HTTPS soon, so we'll be looking into that when it becomes an option. In the meantime, please ignore any warnings about safety. Nothing has happened to us, it's just a case of overprotective browsers.

UPDATE: Forumotion now allows forums to be HTTPS! …If you give them money.

We're sorry to disappoint anyone who was concerned over this, but we don't have the ability to spend money to get HTTPS. No, we are not asking for donations from you guys. We'll just have to wait and see if they'll make the option free. In the meantime, don't worry if Google Chrome or whatever other browsers you guys are using tell you Forumotion isn't safe – they're just being overprotective.

UPDATE: Apparently Firefox may now say this forum is unsafe. Once again, don't worry – it's just your browser being overprotective. Nothing has happened to this forum that has made it unsafe.
